History

Our ambition when we started 2Bornot2B Communications in 2000 was to do good advertising. To work for people we liked. To work on products and services we believed in. It made sense then and it makes sense now.

2Bornot2B Communications was formed in the midst of an economic recession and incorporated in 2001, when conventional agencies were running for cover and their clients were slashing marketing departments and budgets. With the emergence of store brands, warehouse stores and category killers, the concept of "the brand" was under attack. Where others saw trouble, we saw opportunity. With decades of major international agency experience, and having worked on some of the most successful brands in the world, we understood the incredible power of branding.

Our concept seems to have struck a cord. If anything, the rest of the world seems to have finally caught up with our approach. Branding and the concept of the brand are all the rage. From countries and cities to individuals selling books about the dangers of global branding, the brand and all its power have never been more in the forefront of modern marketing.
